This year, Ron Santiago de Cuba is proud to present Daiquiri Week 2025, a vibrant celebration of Cuban craftsmanship, cocktail culture, and summer vibes.

This July, Ron Santiago de Cuba invites cocktail lovers across the globe to join the grand celebration of the legendary Cuban classic — the Daiquiri. From the 11 July to 20 July, bars in Sweden, and all over the world, will pour exclusive twists on the iconic drink, all crafted with smooth Cuban rum and fresh ingredients.

The purpose? To honour the rich heritage and innovation behind the Daiquiri — bridging Cuban tradition with modern mixology. Whether you’re sampling the timeless classic or discovering creative variations, Daiquiri Week aims to unite communities, celebrate craftsmanship, and shine a spotlight on Ron Santiago de Cuba as the true soul of the cocktail.

Cuban Slam Daiquiri

A bold twist on the classic, with a fiery Cuban kick!

Ingredients
50 ml Ron Santiago de Cuba 8 Años
20 ml fresh lemon juice
10 ml fresh grapefruit juice
15 ml sugar syrup (adjust to taste)
A small slice of habanero or a few drops of chili tincture
1 egg white
Garnish: A few drops of habanero oil

Instructions
Add all ingredients (except garnish) to a shaker. First, dry shake (without ice) to emulsify the egg white. Add ice and shake again until well-chilled. Fine strain into a chilled coupe glass.Garnish with a few drops of habanero oil on the foam.

Santiago Citrus Daiquiri

A citrusy, aromatic daiquiri with a hint of tarragon and Caribbean flair.

Ingredients
50 ml Ron Santiago de Cuba 8 Años
20 ml fresh lime juice
15 ml fresh orange juice
10 ml Falernum
1 egg white
A few fresh tarragon leaves (plus extra for garnish)

Instructions
Lightly muddle the tarragon leaves in the shaker to release their aroma. Add Ron Santiago de Cuba 8 Años, citrus juices, Falernum, and egg white. Dry shake (no ice) to emulsify the egg white. Add ice and shake again until well-chilled. Fine strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a fresh tarragon sprig or leaf on the foam.

Candy Daiquiri

A sweet and minty treat with a grown-up Cuban twist.

Ingredients
50 ml Ron Santiago de Cuba 11 Años
20 ml fresh lime juice
1 rock candy lollipop (or 15 ml sugar syrup)
A few fresh mint leaves
1 egg white
Garnish: Mint sprig

Instructions
If using a rock candy lollipop, gently dissolve it in the shaker with the lime juice. Otherwise, use sugar syrup. Add rum, mint leaves, and egg white. Lightly muddle the mint to release its flavour. Dry shake (no ice) to emulsify. Add ice and shake again until well-chilled. Fine strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a fresh mint sprig.
